Cassie Marie Edwards was born in Wisconsin, and has been moving from city to city across the Midwest ever since. She received her BFA from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and her MFA from Northern Illinois University. She has also taught Drawing 1, Drawing 2, Figure Drawing, Advanced Figure Drawing, Art History I, and Art History II through Northern Illinois University and Dakota State University. She is currently living in Madison, South Dakota with her husband Nathan & her cats Bo and Rascal, and she enjoys spending her free time painting (of course), cooking, and gardening.
