“Here We Go” is complete!

I had the pleasure of holding the final, finished copy of Tony Memmel’s latest album in my hand just the other day.  It was another fun, exciting, and challenging project that I am so happy to have completed.  This is the second full album that I have done with Tony and it is a great pleasure to have worked with him, Lesleigh, and Brian for a second time.  Tony is currently traveling on an East Cost tour this month.
Be sure to check out his MySpace page and his website.

An Unguarded Skin

I took a trip down nostalgia lane and put together a remixed version of a music video that I shot starring my long-time friend, Wes Tank.  I am surprised how well it holds up, and it’s hard for me to believe that we made it about nine years ago!  It makes me want to start shooting more music videos soon.

As far as teaching, we have already made it through the third week.  We are keeping plenty busy between classes and house projects, and I’ve been keeping students busy with their own projects.  I’m just starting to post on a blog that I started for the DSU audio program.  The blog can be linked to here.

I have a lot of audio-related activicties on the way, including an upcoming concert next month in downtown Madsion that I will be running sound for with my Live Sound class:

A Wedding and the First Week

These last couple of weeks have been a blur.  We went back home to Wisconsin for Cassie’s sister’s wedding, and I was a groomsman.  I also played a couple songs on guitar and sang at the reception, and I even got Cassie to harmonize with me!

It all went really well.  It was a great day, and I am so glad to see how happy Cassie’s sister and her new husband are together.

And as always, it’s great to see family again (me & my bro):

The first week of classes just wrapped up, and I was so exhausted that I took a two hour nap this afternoon!  The good news is that the classes all were a lot of fun, and we have a nice long labor day weekend ahead of us.  Cassie and I are planning on a visit to Sioux Falls tomorrow to get some home improvement stuff, and just to get away and have a good time.  The rest of the weekend will be dedicated to getting some work done around the house and preparing for next week’s classes.  Until then, enjoy the holiday weekend!
Once again, the always great pics were provided by my parents!
